Tours

Please email UOSATours@uosa.org to schedule a tour of the UOSA water treatment facility.

Water is extremely important and what better way to learn about the stewardship of this critical resource than to tour the UOSA water treatment facility!

Tour group sizes of 10 to 15 are best, but it may be possible to make arrangements for smaller or larger groups.

Tours and presentations will be tailored to the general age, knowledge, and experience level of groups.
We want to make sure each group gets an experience that is interesting and appropriate for the group.

Attendees will get a behind the scenes look at some of the powerful machines and fascinating processes that turn dirty waste water into clean water for the Northern Virginia region.

Tours are led by UOSA’s extremely knowledgeable staff and provide an opportunity for attendees to see the water treatment plant in action.

UOSA tours are a fantastic way for chemistry, biology, science, environmental, engineering, or technology students to see (and smell) how those disciplines are applied to remove contaminants from water.

While tours are great for students, UOSA encourages anyone curious about water stewardship and water treatment to participate in a tour.
