📋 Background

Upper Occoquan Service Authority (UOSA) will be replacing multiple sections of existing sewer pipelines that serve the Flat Branch Pump Station as part of the Yorkshire Park Interceptor Upgrades Project. The project includes upsizing existing sanitary sewer pipelines from Old Centreville Road to the Flat Branch Pump Station to improve the capacity and reliability of the wastewater collection system.

Construction activities will include the removal of existing sewer pipelines, installation of new sewer mains, temporary sewer bypass pumping system, and work associated with four stream crossings.

🕒 Schedule

UOSA has completed the design for this project and is preparing to begin construction. Construction is expected to start in late Summer 2026 and be completed in Fall 2028.
